Ghost MV1 Vaporizer - What's all the HYPE about?

The Ghost MV1 is causing a commotion in the vaporizer community because of its unique style and on-demand heating ability.  Considering that it delivers one-hitters on-demand...it still delivers amazing vapor flavour. Usually when you hit an on-demand vape pen - you sacrifice some of the taste for the instant relief.  Not the case with the GHOST MV1 product. We also really appreciate that Ghost vaporizers have included a replaceable battery, glass mouthpiece and crucibles for dosing. If you want to try to dethrone the king of the vape market - you have to come ready to battle.  There aren’t many vaporizers that can match the MV1’s heat up time, efficiency and flavor.

Why should you consider spending the money on the Ghost MV1 Portable Vaporizer for dry herb or concentrate? 

We give credit where credit is due and the Ghost MV1 earns high marks for flavour.  There is some technique required to hitting the vaporizer but it's not rocket science. A long and slow draw will produce your best vapour profiles through its true convection heating capability.  

What’s also great about the portable Ghost MV1 vaporizer is that it can be used for a very short length of time.  Unlike other vaporizers, you don’t have to vape a whole bowl in one session. Anytime you want to get relief, you simply hit a session and the dry herb won’t be cooked while your not using it.  It’s a good efficiency feature. The same concept applies to concentrate users for wax and shatter. The Ghost MV1 is way better than any dab pen out there. In general, shatter pens cannot get anywhere near the taste profile that is created by conduction and on-demand portable vaporizers.  If you are a big concentrate connoisseur and you currently only use a vape pen, you should really consider moving into a conduction / convection based tool.

How do I use the GHOST MV1 Vaporizer - What’s the learning curve people keep talking about? 

The learning curve isn’t something you should shy away from just because your a new to vaping.  If you’re in a tight spot and want a quick draw to give you some relief, it’s not going to be overly complicated.  You can step away for a bathroom break or grab some fresh air and no one will notice. It takes about 5-10 seconds to heat up and then you should be drawing on it for 10 seconds.  That will give you the flavour and vape quality you are after. Remember, longer and slower draws are the key for the Ghost MV1.

The MV1 works best when fully loaded, and you can expect between 6 to 10 hits on a single crucible.  

Does the Ghost MV1 have a good battery life?  Should I get a recharge battery for my Ghost MV1 Vaporizer?

One battery pack is capable of vaping around 9 crucibles depending on session length, size and temperature.  The Ghost MV1 Vaporizer can produce about 60-100 on-demand vaporizer hits on one battery cycle. If you want to charge the Ghost MV1, you can use the USB ( 8 hour charge) or an external charger ( 2 hours)

What are the coolest feature in the GHOST MV1 Vaporizer?

Just like the Crafty vaporizer, the Ghost MV1 can be connected through bluetooth.  Setting the temperature through bluetooth is really cool but we were really impressed with its anti-theft features!  You can lock your vaporizer, eliminating any risks of your friends or roommates getting their hands on it when you’re away!  If you register with the GHOST Vaporizers app, you get an extra 2 years in warranty coverage. No brainer to do it! 

Aside from the medical grade material used for the ceramic zornia mouthpiece, we were super impressed with the borosilicate glass mouthpiece.  This is usually seen in high-end bongs and we are happy that same level of quality is transitioned into the vaporizer community. It ultimately means cooler and smoother draws.  Unlike the Arizer Solo 2  - the Ghost MV1 glass mouthpiece is adjustable and therefore, it doesn’t have as much of a risk in getting broken. 

The Crucibles are clearly a shot at the Storz and Bickel Dosing Capsules.  We find them to be very convenient and great at keeping things less messy.  You can use the GHOST MV1 Crucibles for dry herb or concentrate. Each crucible holds about 0.1 grams.  If you are a heavier user, you should make sure to have a few crucibles loaded up before taking the vaporizer on any portable adventures. 

One of the coolest things about the Ghost MV1 is its airflow.  A lot of vaporizers have a set airflow, the Ghost’s mouthpiece lets the user adjust the resistance to their liking. By pulling out the mouthpiece to open up the airflow, and pushing down to restrict it. It can also be set to the same height every time.

 How do you clean the Ghost MV1 Vaporizer

Submerge the heat sink, crucible, crucible lid, concentrate pad (if using), stem, and white sleeve in 91% isopropyl alcohol, for just a couple of minutes. Be sure not submerge the silver heat sink lid or black rubber gasket, but rather wipe down with a soft cloth. You may need to repeat the process with the crucible lid or concentrate pad, or swish in the alcohol if there is a lot of build up. Place the pieces on a paper towel and allow to dry.  

What is the warranty on the GHOST MV1 Vaporizer?

Ghost has a 2 year warranty on all parts and a one year warranty on the battery.  But the parts warranty will be extended to 7 year if the device is registered on the app.
